What this service does
OurSEO Tools runs a full technical and editorial audit of a website: it crawls the whole site, scores every page, and reports what is wrong with evidence attached to each finding. One run produces a 69-point weighted technical checklist across nine sections, a 40-point E-E-A-T review, page-level content scoring, and — where access to Google Search Console exists — a layer built on the site’s real search data rather than on estimates.
The crawl is our own. It reads robots.txt the way Googlebot reads it, follows redirects to their real destination, and records the link graph, so a finding about the whole site is measured across the whole site rather than inferred from the homepage.
The methodology is public
Every check the audit performs is listed at Every check we run — all 137 of them, with what each one looks at and what it recommends. That page is generated from the audit engine itself, not written by hand, so it cannot drift away from what the software actually does.
Who is responsible for it
Owns the audit methodology: which checks exist, how they are weighted, what counts as a failure, and what the service recommends when one fails. Every check in the published list, and every calibration decision behind it, goes through him.
The company behind it
OurSEO Tools is owned and operated by SEMALT, a search engine optimisation agency. The audit service is used by SEMALT’s own SEO team on client projects, and the same engine serves the public audit on this site — the reports are not a reduced demo version.
Company details, the address and the email for questions are on the contact page. How the SEO Study course is written, checked and corrected is described in the editorial policy.
How findings are checked before you see them
Automated checks produce false positives, and we treat that as our problem rather than the reader’s. Findings are calibrated against real sites before a check is trusted: patterns that flag a product page as a street address, a paginated listing as duplicate content, or a plugin’s own endpoint as a broken link have each been found and removed that way. When a client disputes a finding, the check is re-examined against the live site and corrected if it is wrong.
